The tile (on your right) is plain, dull and of little value. It has no place in today's modern homes.

This is also the story of a large group of disabled in Singapore. They have low education, they lack skills, and can hardly fit into today's knowledge-based economy.

But once creative ideas are applied on the tile, it takes on a different look. It becomes attractive and it has a use; in this case a magnet. And it has a greater value than before. Similarly, once the disabled are empowered with training to realise their potentials, they become like a new person. They have a motivation for living as opposed to merely existing and waiting for the end to come.

They want to earn their keep instead of subsisting on charity. They can be trained to become a skilled disabled workforce.

Tile Story is a story about enabling the disabled. Tile Story gifts are produced by a group of courageous and disabled people who are a special workforce of . They want to pursue their dreams and excellence despite the odds against them.
